Get to Know Me A Bit

Hi, I'm Ian Campbell

I'm a guitar player and singer and have been fortunate enough to play music as a pastime and profession for a number of years now. These days, I spend a lot of time songwriting and recording, and I'm also available to play weddings, parties and special events. So if you're throwing a party and are looking for music, I'm your man.

My repertoire extends across the majority of popular genres for parties and events. Think jazz, acoustic, pop, rock, classics and blues. Whatever you're looking for, my goal is to make sure that your event has music that you and your guests are going to enjoy.

Over the course of my career, I've performed at hundreds of venues and events including weddings, funerals, art gallery openings, festivals, retirement communities and assisted living facilities, corporate events, conventions, bars and more. Back in my early 20s, I spent a couple years as a touring jazz singer and frontman for a party band based in Rochester, NY. While I was doing that, I also started an acoustic jam trio and performed in cities from New York to LA and Raleigh to Oklahoma City.

Some of my favorite highlights from the years are the big crowds at some of the festivals I've played at, and some of the other artists I've gotten to play with and open for (singing duets with Darius Rucker was probably my favorite).

If you're looking for music for your party or event, I can provide music in just about any style out there. I can just show up with my guitar and a small amp or I can build up a full one man band type of show with lights and everything.
